Time to Brag

My husband is so amazing!! Here he is in a torture-situation, getting beaten daily (sometimes even by planks and 4+ kilo guns) and it's other people's trouble and pain that is really worrying him.

Of course he's worried about me -- being alone in a place where people are too afraid to talk to me (even though I do speak enough of the language to make it by). I love that he cares so much about me.

But that's not even the point of this bragging moment today. You see, yesterday, one of Boy's Air Force friends' mother drowned. The guy didn't have enough money to get out in order to go to the funeral. So Boy took his last 20 baht (66 cents on the current exchange rate) and gave it to his hurting friend. That was all the guy needed to get off the base. Now Boy doesn't have any money for special things that he might want in his rare moment to relax during the day but his friend was able to go home at this hard time.

Boy's heart for the needs of hurting people is one of the many things that I love about him. He would do anything in order to show love to another human being.

Please continue praying -- we (Boy especially) are both being attacked in every way right now. Pray that I can be an encouragement to Boy and pray that we will both only listen to the truth!
